The facility is clean and well maintained, the P.T staff are exceptional; they are very good at observing what works and figuring out the best way to accomplish a task. While there are slight delays when you push the button for service, it is usually at a busy time or during a shift change. The food is good and they try to get you what you need or find an alternative. I recommend this facility to everyone who needs a place to heal and rest in peace.
The stay here was very enjoyable, I’ve had a lot of help and access to resources I need. I’ll miss the kind people that helped me on my healing journey and the nice physical therapists, I highly recommend staying here. A big thank you to the staff that helped me, I will be back to visit!
Our Dad broke his hip and has complications from Parkinsons. The staff is very caring and professional. Regular and effective therapy helped him to regain the skills needed to come home.
Great staff, very caring. Clean facility I was very happy after seeing this place in person.
Excellent and caring staff! Very clean facility! Would highly recommended this location.
Redwood Cove Healthcare Center is an awesome place. The staff Is friendly and very helpful. The place looks awesome with the new floors and paint job. It is a very welcoming place.
Horrible place, never did anything to help my dad. He was so close to walking and being free again after his stroke but they never helped even a little bit. They just want my dad’s social security money
My 85 year old mother fell and broke her hip and after a week was accepted to Redwood Cove Healthcare center for recovery, physical and occupational therapy to get her back on her feet. And that’s what they did!! Amazing people!! Nurses and nurses aids. Thank you Raleen, Brittany, Le’Roy, Rich, Salvatore, Dianne, Sarah, Elizabeth, Malita, Justin, Brady, Maya, Kelcie, keliegh, Brooklyn, Gina, Jennifer, Erica, Kimberly, Laura, Nursing Director, Andrea,,Social Services, and the great cooks who prepared special vegetarian meals for my Mom. You all were over the top excellent and I thank you will all my heart for taking such good care of my Mom.❤️☀️🙏🥟
This 5 star building truly deserves every star it’s earned. The staff is so welcoming and the therapy is amazing. The admission process is handled with ease and I’ve never been more impressed. I recommend to anyone this is the place to be!
This place is so so sad. I don’t know why they wouldn’t receive more funding or whatever it is but my God. I came to visit a friend who’s recovering from surgery and the carpet was absolutely disgusting. Discolored and beat down. Their were roaches everywhere and it smelt like urine. The room where my friend is staying is god awful as well. The table was so janky. Like I said, where’s the funding?????
As I visited a friend placed at Redwood Cove for short-term Rehabilitation care, a wheelchair bound woman in the hall kept calling out “Help” although the many nearby staff ignored her. My friend has a deep cough & told me she had COVID. Neither she nor her roommate nor any staff were wearing masks. I’ve called10 times over the last hour to find out if I have been exposed, but I get either a long marketing message, or a “not accepting calls” message. The place was filthy and chaotic. They are the antithesis of their marketing message. What they are providing is certainly not “CARE “
Phone isn’t answered in a timely manner. Our family member was told to go to the bathroom in his diaper instead of assisting him to the bathroom. He fell out of bed his first day there. PT assistant calls himself a Physical Therapist and is rude and arrogant. Trying to get administration to be accountable. Not happy. Am about to file a complaint with CDPH if we don’t hear from Administration reps in 24 hours.
They release people without any prescription to get them by until they can get their own doctor to get them the medicine they need. Walking through the facility to see my father in law they were killing cocaroaches.
My Grandfather stayed there in his final days. He passed away peacefully in 2018 here and the staff was very accommodating polite and empathetic
Nursing staff and the physical therapy staff were great but you need better beds and maybe give the rooms a paint job
They’re really nice. Some works need to be more professional. But overall a good place
I am a friend or relative of a resident My friend had stayed in Redwood Cove for two weeks. It was understaffed. There were no phones and we couldn’t get in touch with the persons. There weren’t enough precautions taken because my friend and five other people got food poisoned there. It was terrible and there were instances that people were falling off their beds. However, they do work on the physical therapy. But they need more staff that was trained. They need activities and improve on their cleanliness.
